Supriya Ravi is a Mumbai girl whose origins lie in Kasargod in Kerala.
She learnt how to cook after her marriage. From her father in law.
She works in the corporate sector and started ‘Oh My Feast’, her page on both Instagram and Facebook, in March 2018. Here she showcases the food from Kerala and Mangalore that she cooks at home.
The pandemic made her work from home and this gave her an opportunity to start her home chef business. She announces the menu mid week and her food is on offer on weekends in Mumbai. Her father in law makes the dosas and curries, she makes the rest of the food, her husband, her mother in law and two kids cheer her on.
She had most kindly sent some of her food to us to sample and this video is about that. My key favourites were the prawn fry, the mutton roast, the pomfret curry and the pomfret pollichattu. I had told her that I do not like food that is too hot and she adjusted for that, rendering some rather delightful meals.
Thanks Supriya and wish you all the best.
