If you are new to my page you might have seen that I love stainless steel thalis.

If you are not new, then you’d know it’s a new found love.

A few years back I’d started what I called my #littlejackhornermeals. A diet based on simple home cooked meals. Made to look pretty (to me) on pushed plates. A sort of silent protest against an Indian chef who worked abroad and who tweeted about how he felt that regular Indian food was not popular in the west because it wasn’t presented well (till he did so)! Fiddlesticks, was my response though I held my counsel and join the Twitter spat that followed.

Had bought this plate and bowl from Fabindia back then. The tur dal, alu methi and roti are by #kayteecooks. Her rotis stay softer ever since I gave her the Chakki Girl aata to use.
