A morning Finely Chopped
Baby Loaf’s wake up call |
Woke up this morning to find Baby Loaf standing by my face on the bed and sniffing it, and K getting ready for work. When I opened my eyes, Loaf went and settled by my feet and kept rubbing his cheek against them. Showering me with love. In a manner he doesn’t do too often now that he’s a year and a half older than when we first met and thought he was a girl.
Nimki’s unboxing |
I later realised why Loaf wanted me to get up. His friends Khuzaan Dalal and chef Taha of Le Flamington had sent us a care package all the way from Pune, with goodies such as handmade chocolates, soft chew cookies, keto almond rocks, vanilla bean marshmallow, classic sourdough and Pune’s only pumpernickel bread, their cafe. Little Nimki did the unboxing. After I fed both boys their breakfast.
I made a chicken salami and cheese omelette in memory of the French omelette that K had loved at Le Flamington. She still raves about their keto cappuccino too. I munched on some cookies while making breakfast and later slipped an omelette to K and had a slice each of their excellent breads. K finished her breakfast with a keto rock and her happy smile was the best dessert I could have.
Breakfast for two |
Thank you Taha and Khuzaan. Stay well. Much love to you both. Big thanks to our friends Radhika Dossa and Rashmi Verma who introduced us (separately) to you.
PS: I was finding typing long posts on the Mac a struggle and then came Instagram to add a fresh lease of life. Glad to see it being received well as this comment exchange shows.
That’s a great and wonderful compliment. Keep it up!
