Our short visit to Granada is coming to an end. We leave tomorrow morning for Barcelona.
It’s been the coldest of the places on this trip. Even I felt the cold this time. The advantage being one can walk loads of course
It’s also been the warmest of places. The people have been really helpful and nice. The concierge, restaurant owners, the folks at the Alhambra Palace. No wonder this is one of the last cities to serve ‘free’ tapas. And we had some great food once again thanks to the place recos of Shawn aka @sevillatapas on twitter
Thanks to it being off season we had a late breakfast in our young hip hotel, Room Mate Leo, and yet managed to get tickets to the Alhambra palace. Though to be honest it’s Zane of the free night tour’s who brought Granada alive for us as we hiked with her up the old Muslim quarters and Gypsy areas. That’s what made Granada magical for us.
