The story of Delhi based chef and consultant, Kishi Arora, is a fascinating one.
She went to the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) to study and then worked as a chef at top restaurants and in top luxury hotels in the US and Singapore. She came back home to Delhi to visit her parents in between and then decided to stay back to look after them. An unplanned move which led her to starting her life as an entrepreneur. Acting as a consultant for those in the food business and as a well regarded bespoke baker.

Her most precious entrepreneurial baby though is ‘Mama K Treats,’ where she launched her mom, Kananbala Arora, as a home chef. Kishi unfortunately lost her father a couple of years back and Mama K Treats gave so much purpose to her mom’s life after that.
In this chat on #foodocracyforher, you will get to know how Kishi’s role play in the kitchen as a kid, after watching the TV show ‘Yan Can Cook,’ started her off on her journey as a chef and of how she found mentors in the unlikeliest of places who helped change her life for the better.
