Had I been too foolhardy by waking up early? This thought came to my mind as I dozed off a couple of times while chanting this morning.
Let me take you back to last Friday. If you remember, I woke up to feed Nimki and then decided to get up for the day. I went down for a stroll. I came back and showered, chanted, had breakfast and hit my desk by 10 am, as fresh as freshly fried shingaras (samosas) that you will see in the sweet shops of Kolkata.
Usually, I go back to sleep and wake up around 11 am or after when our house help wants to clean the room.
I felt far fresher when I wthat day and decided to wake up early every day. Nimki usually wakes me up at 6.30. I tell myself that it is too early to get up. I wake up at 8.30 – 9.30 am and remain fresh throughout the day.
I woke up at 6.45 pm to feed Nimki. I fed Loaf as well. I decided to go for a stroll. That had helped set the ball rolonf
11 am That was the point at which I felt too sleepy. Hence the typo. I did a quick 10-minute yoga nidra and here I am. Fresher than then. The point is that I will try to wake up early from now on. Today’s sloth can be explained by the fact that I slpet at 2 am last night. I could have slept earlier as I was sleepy. Then I got lost in watching reels on my phone. In other words, doing everything they say not to do in articles on how to beat insomnia.
I made myself fried eggs and avocado toast, For K the me same, but with boiled edd whites. It’s funyy hwo I have beun to like svocsdo dedpiravocado, Esrfh
….ok it’s not working out. I need to sleep a bit more.
Hi You need to listen to your body6₹
Have a good rest of the day. (Purposely not changing the typos)
They say that writers think clearly in the solitude of the morning. This is not true. It is not one size fits all. However, I will continue this routine. Sleep earlier at night perhaps.
