Yesterday I had an excellent Thorer Chochchori (stem of a banana tree) at Didu’s for lunch. This was followed by an ethereal shojne data (gourd drumsticks) in ground mustard at my Boro Mashi’s. This morning I read Rahul Varma extoll the virtues of Pindi Chhole and other North Indian vegetarian stuff in a confessed effort to placate his vegetarian friends. This was an article in the Sunday Telegraph.
