The headline is click bait. This article doesn’t talk about almond milk or chia seeds. They feature in K’s diary if that counts.

The boys have captured my favourites places to have my cappuccino

Is it breakfast if you have it at 1 pm? It is, in my world. This has nothing to do with intermittent fasting. The first meal of the day has to be breakfast, regardless of when one has it.
This HAS to be followed by lunch. And, it doesn’t qualify as lunch after 3.45 pm. After that I’d go for a burger not lunch in the traditional sense.
What other quirks do I have?

Be it at home or in cafes, I have my spot and I HAVE to sit there. This was easier to ensure at home till the boys came into our lives. (See the last pic)
I can safely say that I have aced my avo game. I know when they are just ripe. Can peel them with my eyes closed. I need to improve my consistency in slicing.
I seasoned it today with lime juice, salt, truffle oil and mixed seeds.
Had it on sourdough toast, topped by scrambled eggs.
It was meant to be fried eggs, but the yolks didn’t behave. So I quickly changed theme into scrambled eggs. It was made in extra virgin olive oil (in low heat) without butter, cream or cheese.

The bread is rye sourdough from @suzettemumbai , again located opposite the gym. I bought it while returning from the gym and saved on hefty Swiggy charges. I bought this bread more than a week back and froze it. This was the last slice and I toasted it in the oven and it was fresh as new.
I scraped every sliver of avo stuck to seed and the peel. I don’t like wasting things.

I plated it on the lovely plate @spalifekainaz got us recently. Good dinnerware is my weakness.
I took what I thought was a classily styled pic (see second pic), ‘you can see the food better here,’ she said about the first pic. And, she knows a thing or two about what looks appealing!
Oof, that’s a lot to say about breakfast.
Wait, there one more thing. I used to poke fun at the sourdough and avocado. hipster crowd. I admit that I have crossed over. A tad bit!

I finished the meal with an espresso made with ITC Sunbeam pods. They keep this in their hotel rooms but are yet to retail them.

The thing to remember is the avocado has no taste, its texture is distinct. So it comes down to how you flavour/ season it.
